The mastermind of Positive Flow, producer Jesse Reuben Wilson, is a self-taught drummer, bass player, guitarist and keyboardist. He credits Steely Dan as one of his first major influences and says that electronica and hip hop innovations continually inspire his music. Jesse who is like a mad professor in the studio confides "I'm what you could call an analog/digital head. I love the earthy organic feel fused with digital. On Can U Feel It? there is a lot of live stuff. I wanted to hear the edge of a bow on a real cello, the breathiness of a real flute or the roll of a real cymbal.
